Rachel and Ross’ Queenstown Wedding – These two babes met through a mutual friend but officially kicked things off when they stumbled across each-other at a bar in Sydney. Ross proposed the day they got the keys to their first home. The place was empty except for a box Ross had snuck in earlier with a ‘will you marry me’ balloon inside. (well played Ross, well played…)
Rachel wanted to return home to NZ to get married and they instantly fell in love with Queenstown and what The Grille by Eichardts had to offer. Amazing food, great service, right on the waterfront and only 100m from St. Peter’s church!
“We were after a really relaxed day, no fuss and simple. Great people, food, wine and lots of dancing! The whole day was phenomenal, it was amazing having our family and friends in one place to celebrate with us. We really can’t speak highly enough of everyone that was involved and how stress free they made it for us. We were able to soak in every moment and we really cherish the memories!
As we planned it from Sydney we put a lot of trust in our vendors. They were all fantastic and easily sorted what we wanted. We only took one trip to Queenstown beforehand and they each organised everything from there. This took the pressure off completely. We were able to relax and spend the best week ever with our friends and family, making the most of what Queenstown has to offer”
Thanks to all of Rachel and Ross’ Queenstown Wedding suppliers. The Grille by Eichardts, Road to beauty, Andrea Crawford Flowers and Heliworks who helped bring everything together for them seamlessly. Rachel’s stunning dress was created by Maggie Sottero from Abbey Bridal in Sydney with alterations by Quinnie So.
