Millbrook Resort Wedding –
Alana & Hamish met online in 2012. The two of them had their first date and then within a week and a half of knowing each other we both went overseas for different trips. Both of their trips were organised before knowing each other and both trips were for a month over the exact same time. They kept in contact for that month and met up as soon as they got back to NZ and continued dating.
Alana is absolutely obsessed with Christmas so Hamish proposed to her on Christmas day in front of her whole family during their family lunch. As the story goes she said “Yes!” before he had even managed to ask.
Alana & Hamish have a family holiday home at Millbrook which holds a very special place in their hearts. Millbrook is renown for it’s great service and gorgeous setting so obviously it was the perfect place for them to get married. Hamish also just happens to be a PGA golf pro so it was only fitting to get married on a golf course too!
